Electrobus achieved 100,000 km.

A joint project of the three companies DP Prague, SOR Libchavy
and Cegelec Prague celebrated the beautiful 100,000 achieved
kilometers of full electric operation. February 22, 2017 became
the day when number of kilometers driven electrobus
SOR / Cegelec EBN 11 after 18 months of operation, the DPP
surpassed the other similar projects by the triple scale, both in
the Czech Republic and in terms of Europe.

Modernization of trams in Tallinn.

Of the day 28 June 2016 a contract was signed between
Cegelec a.s. and a mass transport company Tallinn (TLT Tallinn),
Estonia, the contract for modernization and general repairs of 12
trams CKD TATRA type KT6 and two trams of KT4.

100th conference of the UITP - International
Association of the Public Transport

On 12 – 13th May 2016 the jubilee 100th conference of the UITP
( International Association of the Public Transport) Bus committee
was held in Prague under the auspices of the Transport Authority
of Prague. Representatives of most of European countries took
part in the conference including guests from Canada, Singapour
and the United Arab Emirates.

MetroStyle with auxiliary battery drive

On 23rd February 2016 the first trolleybus SOLARIS Trollino 18
AC MetroStyle with auxiliary battery drive was taken over by the
representatives of SOLARIS Bus & Coach and SLB Salzburg
from Cegelec a.s.

Zero-emission trolleybus

At the end of December 2015 Cegelec A.S. started production
of first sets of traction equipment INTEGRA 3000 for the trolleybus
SOLARIS MetroSTyle project, SLB Salzburg (Austria).

E-bus SOR/Cegelec EBN 11 in Pilot Passenger Operation in Prague

On 1st September 2015 the Transport Authority of Prague
 (TA Prague) started passenger operation of e-bus SOR EBN 11
as a part of its one-year pilot operation.  SOR Libchavy, s.r.o. ,
manufacturer and supplier of vehicle body and Cegelec a.s.,
supplier of electrical drive and charging station participated
in this project.

The ceremonial launch  of  e-bus passenger operation was
attended by Prague Deputy Mayor  and Municipal Council
Member for Transportation Mr. Petr Dolínek,  General Director
of  TA Prague Mr. Jaroslav Ďuriš,  General Director  of SOR
Libchavy s.r.o. Mr. Jaroslav Trnka and Managing Director of
Cegelec a.s. Mr. Zdeněk Kočárek.

Presentation of e-bus SOR EBN 11

On 27/08/2015 presentation of e-bus SOR EBN 11 was held for
top managers of VINCI Energies Power & Mobility headed by
Mr. Thierry Mouton, Mnaging Director, at the presence of
Mr. T. Šurovský, Technical Driector of Transport Authority of
Prague and Mr. Zdeněk Kočárek, Managing Director of
Cegelec a.s.

Solaris tramcars with Cegelec equipment
for Leipzig.

Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. has concluded an agreement
with the German Transport Authority Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (hereinafter LVB only) on delivery of 41 tramcar TRAMINO
that will be equipped with Cegelec traction converters. The
project will be implemented in the years 2016 – 2020.

ESS - Energy Storage System

In the year 2012, we jointly with our partner Cegelec
Mobility supplied the equipment for the tram substations
for the French city of Le Havre. The delivery included
3 pcs of Energy Storage System - ESS for use of
regenerated energies of tram vehicles.

1000th Trolleybus SOLARIS.

On 1st of June 2015 Ms. Petra Höfinger, director of
SOLARIS Austria and Mr. Zdeněk Vytouš, commercial
director of Cegelec a.s. handed over the 1000th trolleybus
SOLARIS made by the SOLARIS company to Mr. Peter
Brandel, transport director of SLB Salzburg.

Tramcar refurbishment for MVG Mainz

In April 2015 Cegelec a.s. won an order for the refurbishment
of 6 tramcars M8C (Düwag) for MVG Mainz Germany). Among
others new contactless choppers Cegelec – TV Progress will be installed in all tramcars.
This project will be implemented in the year 2015 – 2016.

Seminar "Electric buses for the city"

On 18/03/2014 "Urban Electric Buses" workshop was held within
the AMPER Trade Fair at the Brno (Czech Republic) Exhibition
Centre. One of its objectives was to contribute to the discussion
on searching for new innovative solutions to reducing
dependence on fossil fuels in municipal mass transit vehicles.

Presentation of the electric bus in Berlin.

5th conference of " Electrobus - market of future!?" was held in
Berlin on 17th - 18th February 2014. More than 200 experts in
urban public transport (representative of manufactures and
operators of urban public transport vehicles) from 13 European
countries took part in the conference.
